Job Description

LG2 is currently seeking a producer to join the creative production services department. The role involves leading print, social media, digital, and manufacturing projects, overseeing all stages of production from the initial process to profitability.

The successful candidate will possess a wide-ranging knowledge of production and post-production, along with a strong command of project management. The producer will collaborate closely with printers, photographers, animators, production companies, creatives, and the agency’s client services department. Ideal candidates should be natural leaders who can inspire and mobilize all project members.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience managing print production programs and social content production.

• Proficient in print production, including traditional advertising, direct mail, point-of-sale, packaging, promotions, and custom manufacturing.

• Skilled in social content production, with experience across all platforms, specifications, best practices, and animations.

• Experienced in coordinating and managing large-scale photo shoots, focusing on consumer goods and lifestyle brands.

• Extensive knowledge of printing processes, such as flexo, screen printing, litho, and digital.

• Expertise in managing press approvals and understanding postal processes and regulations.

• Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and capacity to recommend production and design-appropriate solutions.

• Exceptional project management, time management, and business acumen.


Additional Information

Responsibilities include all stages of production, including project evaluation, deadlines, production strategy, and follow-up with the team and suppliers. Candidates should have the ability to work directly with clients and manage project delivery. They will leverage their industry knowledge to assist the creative team in selecting the best collaborators and use negotiation skills for partnership agreements, while also ensuring budget compliance and project profitability. The role requires a keen understanding of legal matters concerning projects and the ability to act as a resource for other producers, supporting the development efforts of the production group. Keeping abreast of industry trends and techniques is crucial for proposing creative solutions to arising problems.
