Job Description

A really great little branding agency is looking for a Mid-Senior Designer to join their team. All their clients are international and they have a very high standard of work. This is a great opportunity to grow your portfolio and join a team of fabulous human beings.

Work model: Remote (can be based anywhere in South Africa). Need to be able to legally work in SA to be considered.

Salary: R35 000 - R50 000 CTC (depending on level of experience)

Responsibilities

• Creating innovative approaches and strategies
• Designing logos and visual identity systems
• Executing graphic design, layout, and typography
• Crafting persuasive presentations to communicate ideas effectively
• Engaging with clients through various channels: in-person, written, and via Zoom
• Participating in pitching for new projects
• Contributing to project management
• Generating content for the agency’s marketing efforts, including blog posts and social media updates
• Managing junior designers, interns and external resources
• Proactively identifying revenue opportunities
• Quality control of work output

Requirements

• 5 years + graphic design experience - preferably in a branding agency
• Strong branding design skills
• Experience working on brand guides
• A portfolio link must be included in your CV - No portfolio, no response
• Excellent creative suite skills (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Ability to present to clients confidently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail - this means no typos in CV or portfolio!
• Bachelor’s degree in design
