Job Description

As a UX Designer at Razorfish, you’re a strong advocate for the customer. You’re formally trained in design and passionate about customer-centric innovation. You take pride in your work, obsess over details, and insist on iterating until you’ve gotten it right. You see feedback as a good thing and are a great storyteller at ease presenting and discussing your work with clients and stakeholders. Your role includes transforming complex problems into elegant experiences, ideation, concept development, and experience innovation.

Your responsibilities include creating sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards, as well as collaborating closely with development teams to ensure design intent. You will also work with UX designers, copywriters, design researchers, creative technologists, product owners, and mobile developers, advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle, and stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices, and trends.

Requirements

• 3 years+ experience in product design or creating digital experiences.
• Experience prototyping in Figma.
• Experience in working in agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of user-centered design and related design disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UX design abilities.
• Experience in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology).
• Understanding of interactive design and usability principles and how content strategy and creation contributes to the user experience.
• Nice to have: Experience with Financial clients and ADA compliance.

Benefits

Compensation Range: $40.00-$62.00 hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
