Job Description

As a UX Designer, you’re a strong advocate for the customer. You’re formally trained in design and passionate about customer-centric innovation. You take pride in your work, obsessing over details and insisting on iterating until you’ve gotten it right. You see feedback as a good thing. You’re a great storyteller who is at ease presenting and discussing your work with clients and stakeholders. You challenge old ways of thinking and put the customer at the center of everything you do. User-Centered Design methodologies are second nature to you.

• Transform complex problems into elegant experiences
• Ideation, concept development and experience innovation
• Creation of sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios and storyboards
• Close collaboration with development teams to ensure that design intent is achieved
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, copywriters, design researchers, creative technologists, product owners and mobile developers
• Working closely to ensure feasibility of designs
• Advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices and trends
• Participation in observational studies, usability testing and other customer research
• Effective communication of conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales

Qualifications

• 3 years + experience in product design or creating of digital experiences.
• Experience prototyping in Figma
• Experience in working in agile methodologies
• Good understanding of user-centered design and related design disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UX design abilities.
• Experience in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology).
• Understanding of interactive design and usability principles and how content strategy and creation contributes to the user experience.
• Nice to have: Experience with Financial client, ADA compliance

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $40.00-$62.00 hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
