Job Description

Job Title: UX Product Designer

Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)

As a UX Product Designer, you will be responsible for planning and proposing innovative solutions for various product design challenges, including mobile, responsive web, and person-to-person interactions. You will lead the design for improvements in existing experiences and new experiences, while defining strategies for future iterations. Your role will involve quickly iterating on multiple interactive design solutions, advocating for design solutions backed by business and user goals, and developing high-level and detailed storyboards, mock-ups, interaction flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas. You will also collaborate with engineers and product managers throughout the production cycle, assess and optimize performance metrics, present your work to multiple teams, and contribute to the group’s knowledge of user-centered design methodologies.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of design experience.
  • An available online portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), a related field, or 4+ years of additional experience.
  • Experience with a variety of design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Illustrator).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An online portfolio demonstrating your process for creating user-centered design solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling ambiguous and challenging projects.
  • Relentless desire for innovation while balancing business needs and customer expectations.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team and with developers for customer experience implementation.
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design, including usability principles and techniques.
  • Experience with driving or wayfinding apps, logistics, or service design.
  • Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides.
  • Proven ability to lead product discovery and design workshops.
