Job Description

The Designer will manage multiple design briefs simultaneously, allocating time according to job value. The role involves working on a variety of products including websites, phone apps, posters, advertising, computer games, and corporate identity. The Designer collaborates with clients, product development managers, and marketing managers to develop creative ideas and concepts, selecting appropriate media and style to meet client objectives. The position requires creative flair, current knowledge of industry software, and professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cultivate a solid body of work.
• Take the design brief to record requirements and clients’ needs.
• Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints.
• Work with a wide range of media and utilize graphic design software.
• Think creatively to develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas effectively.
• Amend final designs per feedback from clients, Product Development, and Marketing managers to gain approval.
• Collaborate as part of a team with product development, marketing, and operations team members.

Requirements

• Must reside in Manila, Philippines.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and oral.
• Proven graphic and/or web designing experience.
• Strong background in digital imaging correction and touch-ups.
• Experience in movie and game poster design.
• Possess creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas effectively.
• Up-to-date with industry-leading software and technologies.
• Experience with graphical user interfaces.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a graphic designer in a related industry.
• Experience in designing phone apps is a plus.
• Submission of phone apps/PDF/pictures/links of the candidate’s portfolio for review is required.
