Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer for a maternity cover position lasting 16 months, with immediate availability preferred. This role is with a purpose-led fintech startup in Bristol that offers a remote-first work environment with monthly meet-ups. The position comes with a salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits.

As the Senior UX/UI Designer, you will enhance product interfaces, support feature rollouts, and help expand and maintain the company’s design system. You will be involved in adapting the platform for international markets and play a key part in designing impactful solutions, all while enjoying a culture that promotes work/life balance and employee flexibility.

Requirements

• Strong UI skills with a foundation in UX to inform design decisions; strong preference for UI skills.

• Prior experience maintaining or developing design systems, preferably in smaller, hands-on teams.

• Ability to work autonomously while regularly collaborating with cross-functional team members.

• Proficient in Figma and Adobe; these skills are essential.

• Experience in the Financial Services/Fintech sector is a significant advantage, especially with smaller companies.
