Job Description

Bigtincan is an AI-powered Sales Enablement Automation Platform that delivers the right content for selling, training, and coaching at scale across all devices. The company has expanded globally since its inception in Australia in 2011, serving industry leaders and innovators across various markets. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in React to join our fast-paced engineering team in Glasgow city centre. The successful candidate will work with an international cross-functional team in a highly collaborative environment, focusing on user needs and business goals. The candidate must live in Scotland within reasonable travel distance to Glasgow city centre and be able to attend the office in person at least once a week.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent industrial experience.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience in implementing production-level projects in JavaScript/TypeScript with a focus on React.
• Knowledge of build tools (Webpack).
• Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and running services in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with a relational database (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).
• Knowledge of practices and procedures for the full software design life cycle.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role with a requirement of at least one day per week in the Glasgow city centre office. Applicants must be Scottish taxpayers and have the right to work in the UK; Bigtincan will not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
