Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for a Mid-Weight Multidisciplinary Designer to join this highly regarded Melbourne Design Studio who are in the growth phase. The position is within a tight-knit team working collaboratively across various industries, including arts & culture, beauty & fashion, architecture, technology, media, sports, and hospitality. The studio is located in inner Melbourne.

The role involves conceptualising, creating, and managing day-to-day tasks, contributing to the success of a wide range of projects, which include brand identity, campaigns, digital, and packaging. The designer will work on independent projects while supporting team initiatives, creating unique and impactful concepts, experiences, and design systems. Collaboration with talented specialists such as developers, animators, photographers, filmmakers, and writers to enhance the quality of work is expected.

Efficient time management to meet deadlines, working closely with project management to understand timelines, and learning and implementing senior leadership feedback are key responsibilities.

Requirements

Ideally, candidates should have 3+ years of industry experience as a Mid-Weight Multidisciplinary Designer. Proficiency in digital design, including web and product design, motion graphics, 3D, typography, and/or illustration is a plus. Candidates should have strong skills in current industry tools, including the ability to quickly learn new technologies such as Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, and Figma.
