Job Description

Location: Edinburgh, Hybrid. In this position, you’ll be based in the Edinburgh office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, driven, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior UX Designer. We are going through a time of growth and transformation, and this is your opportunity to jump in and get involved.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design process for digital products, ensuring they provide intuitive, engaging, and user-centered experiences. You will conduct extensive user research, translate insights into actionable design solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring those solutions to life.

Requirements

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and passionate individual who has an in-depth understanding of UX/UI design principles, methodologies, and best practices. Key skills required include:

• Extensive experience in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping tools.
• Proficiency with design tools and software, such as Figma, Zeroheight, and Token Studio.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies and their impact on design decisions.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex design challenges and make data-driven decisions.
• Creative approach to generating innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Demonstrated success in improving key performance indicators such as user engagement, conversion rates, and retention.
• Capacity to lead initiatives that result in tangible improvements to product design and user experience.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
