Job Description

Your new company, Hays, is supporting a client in sourcing a detail-oriented Content Designer for a 7-month contract. The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing content across various platforms to enhance user experience and engagement. This role is remote, but candidates must be based in the United Kingdom and have full right to work in the UK.

Your responsibilities will include developing content for websites, applications, and other digital platforms, collaborating with UX/UI designers and developers, conducting user research and testing, creating content guidelines, writing engaging copy, optimizing content for SEO and accessibility, analyzing content performance, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Design, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Content Designer
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and design tools (e.g., Canva)
• An understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
