Job Description

Framestore Integrated Advertising is seeking exceptional design talent for future freelancing opportunities in their US-based offices. The work primarily involves executing animations designed and art directed by senior members of the creative team, necessitating strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills. Freelancers should be comfortable with tools like Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX, with knowledge of Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya being an added advantage. The role includes creating engaging motion graphics, conceptualizing design projects in collaboration with Art Directors and Creative Directors, and managing projects independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills.
• Ability to draw/storyboard and develop character designs.
• Interest in typography.
• Experience with Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX; Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya is a plus.
• Ability to create style frames, storyboards, motion tests, and pitch presentations.
• Effective time management and workload assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Create highly engaging and complex motion graphics animations for various projects.
• Conceptualize and produce design projects alongside internal Art Directors and Creative Directors.
• Work independently or within a larger team on design-focused areas of projects.

Benefits

The pay range for freelancers varies based on experience:

• Juniors (less than 1 year - 3 years experience): $25 - $35 per hour
• Mids (4 - 6 years experience): $400 - $550 per day
• Seniors (6+ years of experience): $600 - $900 per day

The above ranges describe the minimum to maximum pay in the states of New York and California, in compliance with local pay transparency laws. Compensation may vary in other markets based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
