Job Description

Framestore Integrated Advertising is seeking exceptional design talent for freelance opportunities in their US-based offices. The work primarily involves executing animations designed and art directed by senior members of the creative team, hence strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills are essential. In addition, skills in drawing/storyboarding, character design development, or a keen interest in typography may also be beneficial depending on project needs.

The design freelancers should be proficient in Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX, with knowledge of Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya being advantageous but not mandatory. Requirements

• Strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills.
• Ability to draw/storyboard and develop character designs.
• Proficient in Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX.
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya is a plus.
• Ability to create highly engaging and complex motion graphics animations.
• Skill in conceptualizing and producing design projects with internal Art Directors and Creative Directors.
• Experience creating style frames, storyboards, motion tests, and treatments for pitch presentations.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively on design projects.
• Effective time management skills to assess workloads and timelines accurately.

Compensation

Pay rates vary based on experience:

• Juniors (<1 year - 3 years experience): $25 - $35 per hour
• Mids (4 - 6 years experience): $400 - $550 per day
• Seniors (6+ years of experience): $600 - $900 per day

The posted compensation range reflects the minimum to maximum salary for this role in the states of New York and California, in compliance with the New York Pay Transparency Bill and the California Pay Transparency Law. Compensation may vary in different markets outside of New York or California and is dependent on the applicant’s relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
