Job Description

We’re looking for a freelance motion graphics designer who knows how to breathe life into business subjects with detailed, often complex content. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working within a marketing team and be driven by deadlines to create dynamic, visually interesting content. While character animation is a required skill, this position does not involve making character-driven feature films; we primarily tell stories with marketing information as the backbone. This is a remote-only position, and candidates will need their own hardware.

Responsibilities

• Storyboard concepting with our writers and working with our in-house designers to develop the look and feel of videos
• Working closely with the creative director to meet the marketing goals of each project
• Creating all animation, from start to finish
• Managing additional freelance resources
• Working as animation director when additional resources are needed

Requirements

• Expert skills in After Effects CC
• Additional skills in Premiere and Cinema 4D are desired
• Additional skills in HTML5 animation using Hype are a big plus
• Ability to demonstrate technical skill and storytelling ability through a reel
• Ability to take charge of a project and see it through to a successful conclusion that exceeds client expectations
