Job Description

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field. The candidate must have 4+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry, which includes a comprehensive understanding of the apparel development process from inception through production. This encompasses skills in pattern making, grading, construction, materials, costing, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Strong organization and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret design intent and write product specifications and construction standards instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience interpreting design intent.
• Experience writing product specifications and construction standards instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex) and 3D software (Clo/Browzwear) highly desired.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (domestic and international).
