We are looking for a talented book layout designer to join our team on a short-term project basis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with author and designers to create a visually engaging guidebook layout within a limited timeframe.
• Design chapter layouts and other visual elements according to book manuscript in a precise way that enhances the overall reading experience.
• Ensure consistency in typography and composition.

Requirements

• Must reside in Hawaii.
• Proven experience in book layout design, showcasing a portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography and composition principles.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under a tight deadline.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
