Job Description:

As a Designer, you will be responsible for processing survey data and producing drawings for pipeline, plant, and/or facility projects based on scope requirements provided by internal business partners. This role involves working on multiple design and drafting projects of moderate complexity using AutoCAD applications.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of drafting experience
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• CAD certification or concurrent enrollment is preferred
• Introductory level of competence in the use of AutoCAD applications
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, survey field experience, and ESRI ArcPro is preferred but not required

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process data for Survey preliminary, construction, and as-built to ensure accuracy
• Work alongside Survey Leads to execute growth and tactical survey projects
• Provide drafting and technical support for pipeline mapping projects
• Prepare, load, and maintain metadata for the Survey Department
• Use ESRI and Autodesk products to create, verify, re-project, and modify vector and raster data
• Division of work is roughly 10% internal communication/ coordination and 90% CADD work
• No travel required, but may vary based on project assignments, not more than 5%

• Completes work within established procedures and moderate supervision
• Analyzes data and confers with others to determine appropriate solutions to technical or operational problems
• Solves typical problems in own work area without supervisory approval, typically finding solutions in existing procedures and precedents
• Makes straightforward decisions related to own work within clearly defined procedures
