Job Description

This position involves full performance-level web development work programming, testing, and documenting web applications for an internet and intranet website in a department. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining dynamic, programmed applications and HTML pages, templates, and style sheets to develop and maintain a comprehensive website. The role also involves working closely with internal staff to gather requirements, manage and resolve problems, and perform systems analysis. Database modeling, analysis, and design for Web-enabled database applications are also part of the job, performed under the direction of an information technology manager.

Requirements

The minimum requirements for this role include a bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science, or a related area from an accredited college or university. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in web applications programming to develop, design, program, test, and document web applications for web features and internet sites. Additionally, candidates must be able to physically perform the duties required for the role and work in the environmental conditions associated with the position.
