Job Description
The Designer/Drafter provides direct design and drafting support to the Business Unit (BU) to create and/or modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD for new projects.
The role involves performing field work for new piping design and layout, utilizing knowledge of oil/gas field equipment, creating process drawings, and providing drafting services for various types of drawings.
Responsibilities also include working on the development of Standard Well Site Facility Design drawings and supporting the BU’s MOC process through engineering drawings and documents maintenance using SAP/DMS database.
Requirements
- Senior level experience, typically 7+ years in the field.
- More technical support than administrative support.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the discipline; ability to recommend solutions to complex problems.
- Acts as a lead in the technical/functional area, coordinating the work of others but not a supervisor.
