Job Description

Role: Motion Designer

Location: Hybrid (GMT hours +/- 1)

GMGN Labs is a start-up digital marketing agency specialising in emerging tech, working with some of the world’s biggest brands. We are focused on immersive storytelling, leveraging the power of social media and emerging technologies. As a Motion Designer, your role will involve translating a client’s message into a visual story that resonates on the appropriate platforms.

You will engage with various industries, including sports, gaming, fashion, and entertainment, ensuring every detail is managed as we innovate and push boundaries. Responsibilities include creating engaging video content for clients, collaborating with teams, managing video assets, adding motion graphics, staying updated on trends, and ensuring videos meet platform-specific requirements.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be fun & nice - we appreciate positive and friendly individuals.
  • Must be hungry for learning and growth.
  • Keen eye for storytelling through video; attention to detail and passion for visuals.
  • Experience as a Video Editor or similar role in a digital marketing agency or production house.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing software.
  • Familiarity with video requirements for social media platforms like X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and post-production workflows.
  • Strong understanding of the creator economy and social media trends.

Kinda Good to Have But Don’t Cry If Ya Don’t

  • Experience in entertainment marketing or with large sports brands/teams/leagues, gaming marketing, game publishers, or toy companies.
  • Degree/qualification in film production, media, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a video editing role within a creative environment.
