Job Description

The Motion Graphics Designer is responsible for designing and animating motion graphic elements for various events, promotions, digital signage, pitches, advertisements, and special projects such as title and post-production work. This role involves every stage of the creative process, from concept to storyboard to editing and final production. The designer will leverage expertise in branding and interface design to create digital marketing experiences across a wide range of clients and mediums.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• 5-7 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
• A portfolio showcasing various motion design skills, emphasizing thoughtful, conceptual design and typographical excellence.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe CC programs including After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Knowledge of AE Plugins/Scripts and Cinema 4D is a plus.
• General skills in Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills preferred.
• The ability to draw/sketch and storyboard.
• An understanding of storytelling, camera moves, timing, and flow in animation.
• Web design/animation, mobile web/app design/production, and interactive UI/UX design experience is a plus.
• A designer’s eye, capable of working within brand guidelines while creating original looks and styles.
• A willingness to learn and explore new creative software and tools.
• Knowledge of various video outputs and formats, including resolution (4K, HD, etc.), frame rate, and aspect ratio.
• Strong conceptual thinking and visual problem-solving skills.
• Ability to satisfy client requirements while providing innovative insights when necessary.
• A high level of creativity, attention to detail, and efficiency while managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas to both functional and non-functional stakeholders.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Benefits

For Westchester, the expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
