Job Description

Bonfire Labs is a creative studio based in San Francisco that specializes in developing strategy, brand platforms, integrated campaigns, broadcast spots, web content, and more. The studio has collaborative partnerships with leading global brands and prides itself on being scalable, adjusting its process, talent, and timeline to fit any project. They are seeking hands-on lead creatives with significant experience in content creation, particularly in motion design and storytelling. The ideal candidate should have strong ideation, presentation, and leadership skills, capable of developing creative concepts and leading a team of various creatives to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects.

Requirements

An ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a creative leadership role in a client-services environment (e.g., motion design studio, production company, agency, or digital agency).
• Critical experience in producing material, not just overseeing projects.
• Demonstrated mastery in digital tools, including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, 3D, Cinema 4D, and Premiere.
• Ability to provide clear creative direction and timely feedback to ensure work remains on-budget and on-schedule.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the confidence to present ideas to clients.
• Ability to mentor and work effectively with team members, including creatives, producers, editors, animators, and freelancers.
• Must have authorization to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Preference for California residents; relocation may not be offered.
