Job Description
As a Digital Creative Designer at Barry’s, you will play a crucial role in the creation and execution of digital and motion design content for paid media, social ads, and social media platforms. Your work will help drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across multiple channels, ensuring that Barry’s digital presence is visually compelling, on-brand, and aligned with our marketing objectives. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life and elevate our creative output across all digital touch points.
Responsibilities
- Digital & Motion Ads: Design and produce high-quality digital ads (static, animated, and video formats) for paid media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, and others. Ensure ads are optimized for performance and brand consistency.
- Social Media Content: Create eye-catching and engaging graphics, GIFs, videos, and stories for Barry’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), ensuring content is aligned with our brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital touch points while adapting content to fit platform-specific requirements.
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with the marketing, copy, and video production teams to conceptualize and execute digital campaigns that engage, inform, and inspire our audience.
- Motion Graphics & Video Editing: Produce motion graphics, animated videos, and video edits that reflect the energy and intensity of the Barry’s brand.
- Creative Testing & Optimization: Collaborate with the performance marketing team to test different creative assets and formats to drive campaign success, adjusting content based on data insights and audience feedback.
- Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with digital design trends, motion graphics techniques, and social media best practices.
- Asset Management: Ensure all creative assets are organized, easy to access, and properly archived for future use.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital design, motion graphics, or video production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital ads, social media content, and motion graphics.
- Design Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other design tools. Knowledge of video production and editing software is a must.
- Creative Mindset: A keen eye for design, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce visually compelling content that resonates with a wide audience.
- Motion Graphics: Strong understanding of animation and motion design principles and techniques, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality motion content.
- Social Media Savvy: Deep knowledge of social media platforms, their respective content formats, and best practices for designing for paid and organic social media campaigns.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Brand Awareness: A passion for fitness, wellness, and lifestyle branding is a plus.
