Job Description

A Fortune 500 client is seeking a Technical Analyst to join their Web Development team. This role transitions from a true developer to a Technical Advisor, requiring leadership in the technical development of a group focused on creating web-based applications (.NET / ReactJS). The candidate will be responsible for executing planned feature development, technical design and architecture, and providing ideation around solutions that drive results. This individual must understand business needs and convert them into technical requirements. A thorough understanding of requirement specification, design, coding, testing, and support of information systems is necessary, along with previous experience working on off-shore development projects. The candidate should also demonstrate an understanding of the evolving business needs for the supported line-of-business and the implications of these changes on the service area. Furthermore, they will advise clients on business problems, propose options, and work collaboratively to determine the best solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Web Application Development - ReactJS on the front end, SQL server in the backend; the ASP .NET Core framework is ideal (ReactJS alone could suffice)
• Experience supporting development projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams, preferably in a large company
• Experience as a Technical Consultant/Technical Analyst, advising on projects and translating business needs into technical requirements
• Demonstrated understanding of requirement specification, design, coding, testing, and support of information systems
• Previous experience with off-shore development projects
• Ability to understand changing business needs and their impact on service areas

Benefits

Duration: 6-month contract to hire (Full-Time Employee guaranteed based on performance)

Compensation: $55/hr to $70/hr (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education)

Additional Information

Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia (2x per week). If the candidate lives outside a commutable distance, they must be comfortable coming in quarterly.
