Job Description

Equator is a global packaging design agency, delivering strategy to shelf without compromise. We create powerful brands that get noticed and chosen. Equator is part of SGK. We are recruiting for a Senior Designer with experience of working with national and retail brands to join our team. This position is based in Manchester and will require at least 2 days a week in the studio. This role offers the opportunity to work on branded food packaging for major global clients in the UK and USA.

As part of our dynamic environment, you will explore creative possibilities across a vast range of product categories, building a diverse portfolio that showcases your design expertise and art direction skills. You will contribute to innovative concepts while adhering to brand standards, ultimately delivering award-winning packaging designs.

Requirements

Applicants should provide recent examples of their packaging designs or a link to their website/portfolio during the application process. A background in working with national and retail brands, along with creative thinking capabilities, is essential. Familiarity with all aspects of creative expression, typography, photography direction, illustration, packaging architecture, naming, identity development, and strategy is highly desirable.
