Social Media & Content Producer
Social Media Manager is needed in Mexico City, Mexico.
We are seeking a creative and highly organized Social Media Manager & Content Producer to join our team in the beauty industry. This is a hybrid role based in Mexico City, requiring in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week for content shoots and team meetings, with the flexibility to work remotely for other responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media trends, content strategy, and production logistics, ensuring our brand is visually engaging and consistently delivering high-quality content.
Responsibilities
Content Production & Coordination (In-Person 1-2x Per Week)
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee weekly content shoots, working with videographers, models, hairstylists, makeup artists, and other team members.
• Ensure all elements of a shoot—models, styling, lighting, and overall production—align with the brand’s vision.
• Direct and capture content independently using a high-quality mobile device when a videographer is not present.
• Create product-focused content that highlights packaging, textures, and product details, even when a model is not involved.
Social Media Management & Strategy (Remote Work)
• Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule across platforms.
• Create, edit, and optimize short-form and long-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Manage and publish posts, ensuring high engagement and brand consistency.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, particularly in the beauty industry, and propose innovative content ideas.
Collaboration & Brainstorming (In-Person 1-2x Per Week, Virtual as Needed)
• Meet 1-2 times per week with team members to strategize and brainstorm content ideas.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to align social media initiatives with brand campaigns and promotions.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• Must be based in Mexico City and available for in-person shoots and meetings 1-2 times per week.
• Experience in content production, social media management, or digital marketing (preferably in the beauty or fashion industry).
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other social platforms.
• Ability to film high-quality content using a mobile device and familiarity with social media video trends.
• Basic video editing skills (using mobile apps or editing software) are a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with models, photographers, or stylists is preferred but not required.
Additional Details
• This is a contractor position, meaning you will be responsible for your own invoicing and taxes.
• Work is primarily remote, except for in-person shoots and meetings 1-2 times per week.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required, as some shoots may occur on weekends or outside standard business hours.
