Job Description

The Lumistella Company is seeking a Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor to support the SEP-Animation Team, Art, and Marketing by crafting and editing engaging video content. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Storytelling & Marketing Content and focuses on editing high-quality assets for various internal and external uses, including promotional videos, social media content, and internal communications. The position requires translating creative ideas/scripts into cohesive visual narratives while ensuring alignment with artistic vision and high-quality standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams, incorporating feedback to refine content, and communicating project schedules effectively.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, with experience in marketing campaigns, entertainment, and animated content.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and potentially Illustrator and Adobe Animate.
  • Experience with storytelling and continuity, as well as 2D and 3D animation production processes.
  • Knowledge of audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition.
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism and make artistic adjustments.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn the brand and develop a deep understanding of the characters and world.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comfortability in asking questions and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • An extensive portfolio showcasing examples of current video editing and motion graphics work.

Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Mass Communications, or a related field preferred.
