Job Description
Our client is a successful health tech business, a cash generative SME generating approximately Β£5m turnover and employing around 70 staff. The company aims to double in size over the next five years under the guidance of its charismatic and driven CEO, supported by a first-class senior leadership team.
We are looking to assist in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of online advertising, primarily via Facebook and TikTok, and to upskill the team through the appointment of a Social Media Ads Manager on an interim, contract, or temporary basis for approximately three months.
As Social Media Ads Manager, you will work closely with the CEO, COO, Head of Marketing, and the marketing team to provide advice, guidance, planning, and expertise in managing social media ad campaigns, driving increased sales and profitability for the company.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing existing advertising practices within the business.
- Providing strategic direction, guidance, and leadership to management and staff.
- Advising on campaign planning, including competitor and target audience research.
- Creating ads, writing copy, uploading creative content, and reviewing ad performance.
- Managing campaigns by setting budgets, schedules, and monitoring performance.
- Targeting ads based on demographics, interests, and behaviors.
Requirements
As Social Media Ads Manager, you will need:
- A wealth of commercial experience as a Social Media Ads Manager, Social Media Marketer, Social Media Manager, Social Media Consultant, or similar, with expertise in Facebook and TikTok being highly advantageous.
- In-depth practical knowledge of tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, SoGro, and Alchemy.
- Relevant education in Marketing or Public Relations is beneficial but not essential.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working at all levels and with a diverse range of stakeholders, both independently and as part of a team.
- Accustomed to working in demanding businesses and environments.
- A quality network of contacts ready to address challenges.
